Best Cinnamon Rolls E.VER!

Looking for a snack for this weekend? Or a yummy treat for the Superbowl coming up? OR just looking for THE. BEST. Cinnamon Rolls. E.VER?! Then keep reading!

These are THE BEST homemade rolls ever! They always turn out great! So moist and yummy! I have used multiple recipes for Cinnamon Rolls over the years and several are good, and some are O.K. Some definitely take longer than others. The easier, quick recipes are typically good, but I have to say, if you want them really fluffy and moist, then these are the ones you want to make. A friend gave me this recipe years ago and I have never found better! I WILL warn you. They take time to rise, but if you start them early and then just check on them here and there during the day, that's all it takes.

Soooo, here's the recipe and instructions!!!

Start with:
1/2 cup warm water
2 pkgs dry yeast (2 Tbsp)
2 Tbsp sugar
1 (4 servings) pkg Instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp salt
6-8 cups flour

In a small bowl, combine water, yeast and sugar. Stir until dissolved. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix the pudding according to the package directions. Add butter, egg, and salt. Mix well, then add the yeast mixture. Blend. Gradually add flour and kneed until smooth. Place in a very large greased bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled. Punch down and let rise again. Roll out onto a lightly floured surface 34 inches by 21 inches.

Take 1 cup of butter, softened, and spread over the surface of the dough. In a small bowl, mix 2 cups brown sugar and 4 tsp cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the dough. Roll up very tightly. Cut with thread every 1-2 inches depending on how tall you want them to be. Place on greased pan 2 inches apart. Lightly press down with hand just a little. Cover and let rise until doubled again. bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Take them out when starting to brown. Frost warm rolls.

8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
about 1 T milk-just enough to fluff
Mix until smooth

Like I said...takes some time, but soooo worth it.

(The rolls shown in the pic I cut at 1 inch, instead of the taller cinnamon rolls bc they are still SO big! I also subbed half wheat flour in this batch, although I do like the all white flour ones better!)
Good luck!
