I can't believe that the holidays are already right around the corner. Once we hit the end of October, it seems the rest of they year kicks into fast forward warp speed! One of my goals this year is to not let the enjoyment of being with family and friends get away from me during this time. It's so easy to get caught up in everyday life and your "have-to-do-this-today" lists, that sometimes we forget to focus on what matters most and where our real blessings are found.

For me, that means more time spent with family! I love having my family around me. Whether we are outside in the backyard, camping, or playing games together inside, I love having them all around me.Too many days though, I find myself running from one place to another, just trying to keep track of which kid needs to be where, and at what time. It makes my head spin! I want to be able to spend more time with my kids and family. To do this, everything needs to run as smoothly as possible, so I rely on my cell phone to help me do this.

I set alarms for when we need to leave to take each of the kids to their activities, and when they need to be picked up.

I use it daily to keep in contact with my 16 year old, to know whether he needs to stay after school or not.

And I find it extremely helpful when I am spending time helping my older kids with their homework. (Shhhh...don't tell them that I don't know all of the answers! Ha!)

One more big way we use our cell phone for is to keep in touch with family that lives further away. Unfortunately we don't live really close to my parents and siblings and nieces and nephews, so lately we have been loving this technology for helping us to stay connected. We love to be able to chat and video call with family that lives further away. I love that my little ones can still interact with their grandparents and grow stronger relationships with them still.

So, I recently decided I wanted a family phone that wasn't mine, or my husband's personal phone. That's why I picked up the LG Leon LTE for just $69.82 when I was at my local Walmart the other day. The Walmart Family Mobile Service is $39.88/month (for the first line and less for additional lines!) with unlimited talk, text, & data service plan which includes up to 5 GB of 4G LTE data. I love that the Walmart Family Mobile's 4G LTE service has even more data now, perfect for our family with all the chatting and video calls we make! It's perfect for treating your family (and mine!) throughout the holidays and the rest of the year too! You can check out even more on this plan at the Walmart Family Mobile Tumblr page here.

(Disclaimer: All prices for phones and plans included in this post are accurate as of the date of posting; however, these prices are subject to change. Please refer here or go to your local Walmart for current pricing.)

So, now we can look forward to even more time spent interacting with family and friends, even those that are miles away. I love seeing my kids' smiles as they see their cousins familiar faces and hear their voices on the phone. I love that they keep those relationships they have with them and continue to share details of their daily lives this way.

So as you enter this busy time of year, think of what your REAL "should-be-doing" lists truly are! Do you need a way to make it easier to stay in touch with family, to help organize your life a bit better and help it to run smoother? Can Walmart Family Mobile help? And make it a priority to do the things that matter most in your life, so that this time of year will be made of more memories, not regrets.
